About The Position

As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, the Personal Stylist blends results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable shopping experiences. The role involves understanding customers’ needs, offering personalized recommendations, connecting them with suitable products and services, and building trust and loyalty while working toward sales goals. Colleagues help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting, and contribute to a supportive, collaborative team environment. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week; hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
• Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.

• Ability to use electronic devices.
• Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations that build customer relationships.
• Understand customer needs and offer personalized product and service recommendations.
• Work toward daily sales goals through customer engagement and effective selling behaviors.
• Share information about products, new arrivals, trends, and current promotions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor.
• Merchandise new receipts; process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for return to vendors; update signs and pricing; and support merchandise moves.
• Share the benefits of the Loyalty program, ensure customers have what they need, thank them, and help complete their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support a positive customer experience.
• Use computers, handheld equipment, and cash registers to perform job functions and process transactions.
