About The Position

The Ward Law Group is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to manage the entire case-handling process, from initial filing through to verdict, with a focus on serious and catastrophic personal injury cases. Attorneys will supervise teams to ensure top-shelf service, focusing on tasks that only attorneys should perform. This role involves screening clients, interviewing clients and witnesses, managing case files, negotiating with insurance companies, drafting legal documents, preparing for and participating in mediations, and providing counsel to clients, including assistance at trial. The position maintains a collaborative approach, working closely with supervising attorneys.

Requirements

  • Five or more years personal injury experience.
  • JD from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Member of the NY Bar.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and people skills.
  • Professionalism and prioritization of client customer service and representation.
  • Experience and knowledge on how to evaluate value of claims.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the entire case-handling process from initial filing through to verdict.
  • Handling serious and catastrophic personal injury cases.

  • Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.

  • Interviewing and deposing witnesses.
  • Preparing clients for depositions.
  • Providing counsel to clients.
  • Providing assistance at trial.
  • Working closely with supervising attorneys to ensure effective and comprehensive handling of litigation matters.
