About The Position

We are looking for compassionate, dependable Personal Care Workers who are passionate about supporting others and helping clients live with dignity, independence, and purpose. As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll provide hands-on support while creating a safe, positive, and respectful environment for the people we serve. This client is seeking help 3 hours a day, once or twice per week.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Pass a background check.
• Have proof of insurance and reliable transportation.
• Must be dependable, caring, and a team player.

Nice To Haves

• Experience is preferred but will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Creating a welcoming environment that supports clients’ individual needs, goals, and self-expression.
• Monitoring clients and providing support based on their individual needs.
• Assisting with or providing personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hair care, and oral hygiene.
• Preparing meals and performing light housekeeping.
• Providing the client with transportation to activities and medical appointments.
• Building positive relationships with clients and learning their individual routines, preferences, behaviors, and communication styles.
• Treating every client with dignity, patience, and respect.
• Working collaboratively with coworkers, managers, and other members of the care team.
