About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Personal Care Worker who is passionate about supporting others and helping clients live with dignity, independence, and purpose. This role involves providing 1-on-1 in-home care to a client in Hudson, WI. We offer morning, evening, and overnight shifts, with varying pay rates and potential for sleep-time flexibility on overnight shifts. Every other weekend may be required. Schedules are based on client needs and will be discussed with Human Resources to fit your availability.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Proof of insurance and reliable transportation required.
• Dependable and responsible.
• Compassionate and respectful.
• Comfortable working with a variety of individuals, needs, routines, and behaviors.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creating a welcoming environment that supports clients’ individual needs, goals, and self-expression.
• Monitoring clients and providing support based on their individual needs.
• Assisting with or providing personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hair care, and oral hygiene.
• Preparing meals and performing light housekeeping.
• Providing transportation to activities and medical appointments.
• Building positive relationships with clients and learning their individual routines, preferences, behaviors, and communication styles.
• Treating every client with dignity, patience, and respect.
• Working collaboratively with coworkers, managers, and other members of the care team.
