Requirements
- Previous caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or CNA experience preferred
- Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and a dependable, trustworthy demeanor
- Availability to work weekends consistently
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
- Transport clients to appointments or errands as needed
- Document and report any changes in client condition to supervisors
