Personal Care Assistant
About The Position
Touchmark at Mount Bachelor Village is seeking a Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver for their Home Care Department. This role involves enriching residents' lives by providing the highest level of dignity and care, assisting with daily living activities such as companionship, grooming, hygiene, dressing, showering, mobility, and toileting. The position offers the opportunity to build lasting relationships with residents and their families. Various full-time and part-time shifts are available, including nights and weekends. All home visits are conducted on Touchmark campuses.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion)
- Genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
- Willingness to continue learning and improving skills
- Commitment to confidentiality
- Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed, including companionship, grooming, hygiene, dressing, showering, mobility, and toileting.
