About The Position

Goodwin Living is recruiting Home Care Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for work at Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads and other Goodwin Living campuses, including community-based client locations. The listed opportunities include full-time and part-time day or evening schedules, as well as PRN positions. A virtual career fair and interview event is scheduled via Zoom for Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Candidates should apply and upload an updated resume; qualified candidates will be contacted with a Zoom link. On-site interviews may also be conducted for candidates who meet the qualifications for current openings. Interviews are not guaranteed.

The roles require reliable transportation, and candidates must be able to travel to assigned campuses or clients in the community as applicable. PCAs need a valid certificate of completion, active CPR certification, and a personal smartphone capable of running the required home-care EMR mobile app for clocking in and out, documentation, and scheduling. CNAs need a current Virginia Board of Nursing CNA license and current CPR certification. English speaking, reading, and writing ability is required for both roles.

Requirements

• PCA applicants must have a valid Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certificate of completion.
• PCA applicants must have active CPR certification.
• PCA applicants must have a personal smartphone that can run the required EMR mobile app.
• PCA applicants must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance.
• CNA applicants must hold a current CNA license with the Virginia Board of Nursing.
• CNA applicants must have current CPR certification.
• CNA applicants must have at least one year of CNA experience; new graduates may be considered if they can be trained.
• CNA applicants must be able to work at any of the three campuses or in the community, including Annandale, Alexandria, and Arlington.
• Applicants must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Candidates must upload an updated resume to apply and be considered for the virtual interview.

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred for PCA applicants.
• New PCA graduates may be considered if Goodwin Living can provide training.
• New CNA graduates may be considered if they can be trained.

Responsibilities

• Provide home care services as a PCA or CNA at Goodwin Living campuses or in the community.
• Use the required EMR mobile app for home-care clocking in and out, documentation, and scheduling.
• Work the applicable assigned shift schedule and weekend commitments.
