About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants to provide non-skilled in-home care to clients in the Richmond area. The role supports clients in remaining happy, healthy, safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes through personalized care. Caregivers are expected to be caring, compassionate, dependable, and comfortable helping others. This is a Monday-through-Sunday part-time case in Chesterfield, scheduled from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The client’s home has two dogs and two cats, so applicants must be comfortable working around pets. Compensation is $20.00 per hour, with higher pay for weekend work. Applicants must complete the online application and provide all required information for consideration.

Requirements

Must have a PCA certificate or a non-expired CNA certification.
Must provide a certificate of completion from an approved 40-hour PCA class.
Must provide a CNA license, if applicable.
Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide acceptable documentation, such as a Social Security card, passport, driver’s license, or birth certificate.
Must provide a PPD/TB test or chest X-ray from within the past five years, or be willing to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have a First Aid/CPR card, or be willing to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
Must be comfortable working in a home with two dogs and two cats.
Caregivers should be caring, compassionate, dependable, and enjoy helping others.
