About The Position

Spring Arbor Senior Living of Winchester is hiring compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support residents in its assisted living community. The Resident Assistant provides scheduled resident care under the supervision of the Resident Services Director in Memory Care and/or Ensemble areas, helping maintain a positive physical and social environment. The posting lists full-time second-shift positions and PRN positions on all shifts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have at least one year of related health care experience.
• Successfully complete required dementia training if applying to a community with an Ensemble Program.
• Pass a criminal background screening.
• Adhere to the company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and first aid certification, preferred or as required by the state.
• May be a Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA), depending on state requirements; any license or certification must be in good standing with the state agency.
• Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Interact with residents and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, medication reminders, and incontinence care.
• Maintain appropriate care records, including resident service plans, and document services provided.
• Know and follow resident service plans and document all services provided.
• Communicate daily with Resident Services associates to maintain continuity of resident care and services.
• Promote a safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors.
• Support the programming and operations of the neighborhood.
• Perform additional assigned job duties.
