About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants to provide non-skilled in-home care to clients in the Richmond area. The agency focuses on helping clients meet their needs and remain happy, healthy, and at home. Caregivers are expected to be caring, compassionate, and dependable, and to enjoy helping others. This is a part-time case in Chesterfield, scheduled Monday through Sunday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The client's home has two dogs and two cats, so applicants must be comfortable working around pets. Applicants must complete the online application in full to be considered. A PCA certificate or current, unexpired CNA certification is required.

Requirements

Must have a PCA certificate or a non-expired CNA certification.
Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide applicable documentation, such as a Social Security card, passport, driver's license, or birth certificate.
Certification of completion from an approved 40-hour PCA class.
CNA license, if applicable.
PPD/TB test or chest X-ray completed within the past five years, or willingness to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
Reliable transportation.
First Aid/CPR card, or willingness to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
Must be comfortable working in a home with two dogs and two cats.
