About The Position

Elara Caring is hiring a Personal Care Aide to provide in-home support that promotes clients’ comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life. The role includes personal care, assistance with daily activities, household tasks, companionship, and help with errands or transportation when applicable. The posted hourly pay range is $20.00–$23.58, and daily pay is available. The role requires HHA certification and/or valid CNA certification from the State of Massachusetts, as well as a high school diploma or GED. The work may involve lifting, standing, bending, and assisting clients, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve clients’ quality of life.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments when applicable.
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client.
