Personal Care Aide (PCA)
About The Position
Interim HealthCare is seeking caring, compassionate, and dependable Personal Care Aides to provide one-on-one care to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. The role offers flexible scheduling, with availability arranged in coordination with the aide. Pay is $20.00 per hour and paid weekly. PRN and part-time opportunities are available, with the potential to pick up additional hours. Day, evening, and overnight shifts are available, and an Interim HealthCare representative provides 24/7 on-call support. Availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday is required.
Requirements
- Six months of experience in a comparable care aide job, a current CNA license, or completion of the first semester of nursing school.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and own reliable transportation.
- Two professional references.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Nice To Haves
- Current CPR certification is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Assist with shopping and everyday activities.
- Support clients’ comfort, dignity, and independence.
