About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring Personal Care Aides/Caregivers to provide client-centered support to seniors in an independent living community in Ellisville, Missouri. The role offers schedule flexibility and work-life balance, with 1:1 aide-to-client ratios and online training with opportunities to earn CEUs. Personal Care Aides help seniors live safely at home by assisting with personal care and activities of daily living, supporting mobility, providing medication reminders, documenting clients’ conditions, and maintaining a safe environment. They also provide companionship and take part in activities that bring clients joy. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR certification.
TB test.
Valid Missouri driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
Compassionate and helpful nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
Help with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
Participate in activities that bring clients joy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
