About The Position
Interim HealthCare is hiring a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver in Fayette County, Georgia. The role provides client-centered, personalized care to help seniors live safely at home. It offers schedule flexibility and work-life balance, including the ability to set your own schedule. The posting lists pay of $16.00–$17.00 per hour, 1:1 aide-to-client ratios, and online training with opportunities to earn CEUs. A $200 sign-on bonus is offered.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active Personal Care Aide certification in Georgia; Interim may assist with certification.
- Current hands-on CPR and First Aid certification.
- Current TB screening.
- Valid Georgia driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
- Compassionate and helpful nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to help seniors live safely at home.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
- Help clients with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
- Maintain a safe home environment by keeping pathways unobstructed.
- Participate in enjoyable activities with clients, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
