About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver to provide personalized, home-based care to seniors in McDonough. The role supports clients who need help with daily activities so they can live safely at home. Aides work with a 1:1 aide-to-client ratio and may set their own schedules. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Active Personal Care Aide certification in Georgia; Interim HealthCare can assist with certification.
Current hands-on CPR/First Aid certification.
Current TB screening.
Valid Georgia driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
Compassionate, helpful nature and good communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support that helps seniors live safely at home.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
Provide medication reminders, document clients’ condition, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
Maintain a safe home environment, including keeping pathways unobstructed.
Participate in enjoyable client activities such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
