About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring a Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver in Griffin, Georgia, to help seniors live safely and happily at home. The role provides personal care and support, including assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, transportation, and companionship. Aides also provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, report concerns to a supervisor, and help maintain a safe home environment. The position offers $16–$17 per hour, a $200 sign-on bonus, one-to-one aide-to-client ratios, schedule flexibility, and online training with opportunities to earn CEUs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in Georgia; Interim can assist with certification.
Current hands-on CPR/First Aid certification.
Current TB screening.
Valid Georgia driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
Compassionate, helpful nature and good communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

One year of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support so seniors can live safely at home.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
Maintain a safe home environment, including keeping pathways unobstructed.
Engage clients in enjoyable activities such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
