About The Position
Interim HealthCare is hiring a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver in Molena, Georgia. The role provides personalized, home-based care to seniors who need support with daily activities, helping them live safely at home. Aides work one-to-one with clients and may set their own schedules. Interim HealthCare offers online training and CEUs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active Personal Care Aide certificate in Georgia; Interim HealthCare can assist with obtaining the certificate.
- Current hands-on CPR and First Aid certification.
- Current TB screening completed within the past 12 months.
- Valid Georgia driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal transportation.
- Compassionate, helpful nature and good communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in a healthcare role (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support that helps seniors live safely at home.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
- Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
- Maintain a safe home environment by ensuring pathways are unobstructed.
- Participate in activities clients enjoy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
