About The Position
The Personal Care Aide provides supervision and assistance to residents at Forest Hill Heights Senior Living Facility, helping them feel genuinely cared for. The aide observes and reports changes in residents’ status to the appropriate charge person and honors resident requests while providing service. The role includes weekend day, evening, and overnight shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide resident care, supervision, and assistance in accordance with state regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Give and receive shift reports for assigned residents to and from the charge person.
- Change linens, collect soiled linens, and distribute clean linens as required.
- Assist residents in keeping their rooms, bathrooms, and personal belongings clean and orderly.
- Assist residents with grooming, hair care, shaving, and ordinary care of nails, teeth, and mouth.
- Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, transfers, and eating.
- Take and record residents’ weights as directed.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ status to the appropriate charge person.
- Honor resident requests while providing care and service.
