About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring Personal Care Aides/Caregivers to provide client-centered, home-based care to seniors. The role offers flexible scheduling intended to support work-life balance and 1:1 aide-to-client ratios. Personal Care Aides help clients live safely at home by assisting with daily activities, mobility, medication reminders, and companionship.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
• Compassionate, helpful nature and good communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to help seniors live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
• Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns.
• Maintain a safe home environment by ensuring pathways are unobstructed.
• Participate in activities clients enjoy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.
