About The Position
Yours Truly Home Care & Nursing Inc. is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides to provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes in South Hill, Virginia. Aides support clients with personalized care while developing their skills under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role offers full-time or part-time schedules, with shifts available in 4-, 8-, or 10-hour options. Weekly earnings are estimated at $500–$850 gross, and the hourly rate is $12.77–$14.50 depending on qualifications, care complexity, and hours worked. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate after 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- PCA certification; free training is offered for candidates who are not certified.
- Valid driver’s license or ID and Social Security card or birth certificate.
- Must pass the State of Virginia background check.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Nice To Haves
- Prior caregiving experience in home care, residential care, or long-term care; experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, toileting, and incontinence care.
- Respond promptly to client needs and requests for care.
- Prepare healthy, balanced meals based on clients’ dietary needs.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
- Provide medication reminders as directed.
- Complete required documentation, including timesheets, behavior logs, and incident reports.
- Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
