About The Position

Yours Truly Home Care & Nursing Inc. is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes in the Greater Richmond area. The role offers an opportunity to deliver personalized care and develop skills under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Care is provided in clients’ homes, supporting one family at a time, 5–7 days per week. The position is listed as full-time or part-time, with flexible scheduling options that may include morning, evening, night, weekend, or split shifts in 4-, 8-, or 10-hour durations. Pay varies by qualifications, care complexity, and weekly hours. The posting estimates typical gross weekly pay of $500–$850 and an hourly rate of $12.77–$14.50, with overtime at 1.5 times the hourly rate after 40 hours per week.

Requirements

PCA certification; free training is offered to applicants who are not certified.
Valid driver’s license or ID and Social Security card or birth certificate.
Must pass the State of Virginia background check.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Prior caregiving experience in home care, residential care, or long-term care; experience is not required.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, toileting, and incontinence care.
Respond promptly to client needs and requests for care.
Prepare healthy, balanced meals based on clients’ dietary needs.
Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
Provide medication reminders as directed.
Complete required documentation, including timesheets, behavior logs, and incident reports.
Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
