About The Position

A family office that invests in cutting-edge technologies is seeking a resourceful Personal Assistant to lead personal and business initiatives for the family. The role acts as the flight director of the family office, overseeing logistics such as researching educational opportunities, hiring vendors and support staff, organizing travel, and executing special projects and events. The position involves planning and ensuring seamless operations for family members and staff, interacting with external parties, and communicating frequently with family members and existing staff. The role reports directly to the principals and includes approximately 20% domestic and international travel. It may initially be performed remotely, with relocation to the Chicagoland area expected by September 2027. The anticipated schedule is approximately 35 hours per week. The family values reasonable boundaries outside working hours; occasional evening messages or emails about changes or priorities are expected to be reviewed at the start of the next workday rather than answered immediately. Travel is generally arranged in advance, with at least one week's notice and typically two weeks to one month.
