About The Position

Benchmark at Rye is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to provide care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. Full-time opportunities are available for evening shifts from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. or night shifts from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The stated pay range is $20–$23 per hour.

The role includes helping residents with activities of daily living, documenting care and reporting changes in residents’ health or behavior, engaging residents in meaningful activities, and providing emotional support. PCAs use customer service skills to help ensure residents receive exceptional, meaningful care and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA, HHA, or LNA license required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Perform other duties as needed.
