About The Position

Circle of Life Personal Care provides non-medical care in Northwest Arkansas, extending the organization’s compassionate approach to services such as respite care, companionship, meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, and assistance with activities of daily living. Personal Care Assistants provide support tailored to client needs and caregiver fit. Scheduling is flexible and PRN, with the option to choose assignments and coverage areas. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour, with a weekend differential for work between 7 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday.

Requirements

Demonstrate compassion and an ability to build rapport with clients.
Be able to work independently and demonstrate dependable work habits.
Have excellent interpersonal skills.
Have a valid and current driver's license or access to reliable transportation.
Be able to meet pre-employment screening criteria.

Nice To Haves

Prior caregiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and sitting services.
Assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and other activities of daily living.
Transport clients and assist them with appointments and events.
Run errands for clients.
Prepare meals.
Assist with light housekeeping.
Support recreational activities such as crafting, letter writing, and exercising.
Provide medication reminders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
