PCA Personal Care Assistant
About The Position
Benchmark at Rye is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to provide care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. The listed pay is $20–$21.25 per hour, with day shifts from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., evening shifts from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and night shifts from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Associates will support residents with daily living, document care and report relevant health or behavior changes, engage residents in meaningful activities, and provide emotional support and exceptional customer service. Requirements
- A valid CNA, HHA, or LNA license is preferred; PCA training is available.
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
- Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
- Perform other duties as needed.
