About The Position
Miller’s Health Systems is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to assist residents with their daily activities. Duties may include helping with personal hygiene, providing medication reminders, and assisting with housekeeping tasks in residents’ apartments or rooms. This role may also serve as a first step toward a career in nursing. The position is part-time, requires availability for either the 2 p.m.–10 p.m. or 10 p.m.–6 a.m. shift, and involves 20–30 hours per week. Pay is $16.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Successfully complete the pre-employment process and screening.
- Pass a physical examination required for employment at the facility.
- Successfully complete required orientation and training.
- Follow written and/or verbal instructions.
- Be passionate about serving others.
- Be able to work with a dedicated team.
- Maintain a professional appearance and behavior.
- Be available for the 2 p.m.–10 p.m. or 10 p.m.–6 a.m. shift.
