PIC (Internal Only)

Bi-Mart Corporation•Molalla, OR

About The Position

The Person in Charge (PIC) is a secondary work assignment for which eligible employees must apply and be selected. Only a current Area Coordinator, CSM, or Department Manager at this location is eligible. The employee’s schedule will flex between their current role and the PIC role; when they are not scheduled as PIC, PIC responsibilities default to the store management team and the employee resumes their current-role responsibilities. PIC duties include opening and closing routines, executing bank deposits, receiving shipments, and interpreting and disseminating company directives when assigned as manager on duty. The PIC assists in operating a profitable store by controlling expenses, maintaining in-stock basics, applying sound personnel skills and company policies and procedures, keeping the store clean and in good repair, solving problems, controlling liabilities, protecting company assets, and maintaining employee morale and customer satisfaction. The PIC reports to the Store Manager and coordinates with store management, the district manager, the senior vice president of store operations, area coordinators, hourly clerks and cashiers, and administrative office staff. The position offers an additional $2.00 per hour while scheduled as a PIC. The listed pay range is USD $0.00–$2.00 per hour.
