PIC (Internal Only)

Bi-Mart Corporation•Aberdeen, WA

About The Position

The Person in Charge (PIC) position is a secondary work assignment for which eligible employees must apply and be selected. Only a current Area Coordinator, CSM, or Department Manager at this location is eligible. The schedule flexes between the employee’s current role and the PIC role. When an employee is not scheduled as a PIC, PIC responsibilities default to the store management team, and the employee resumes the responsibilities of their current role. PIC duties include opening and closing routines, executing bank deposits, receiving shipments, and interpreting and disseminating company directives when assigned as manager on duty. The PIC assists in operating a profitable store by controlling expenses, keeping basic merchandise in stock, applying sound personnel practices and company policies, maintaining a clean store in good repair, identifying and solving problems, controlling liabilities, protecting company assets, and supporting employee morale and customer satisfaction. The role reports to the Store Manager and coordinates with store management, the district manager, the senior VP of store operations, area coordinators, hourly clerks and cashiers, and administrative office staff. The additional wage is $2.00 per hour while scheduled as a PIC. The listed pay range is USD $0.00–USD $2.00 per hour.
