Performance Marketing Lead

Nooks•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

Nooks is an applied AI lab building an Agent Workspace for go-to-market teams. The company develops AI agents for sales activities, from account strategy to prospect research and outreach. Its mission is to help sellers focus on closing deals by automating busywork. Nooks serves more than 2,000 customers, has raised over $70 million, and has tripled ARR each year for three consecutive years. The Performance Marketing Lead will build the foundation for Nooks’ performance marketing function and own paid media end to end, including planning, hands-on execution, measurement, and optimization. The role captures existing demand and builds demand among buyers who are not yet in-market. It calls for a fast-moving, analytical, detail-oriented systems thinker who is comfortable working directly in ad accounts, using AI to work more efficiently, and making budget decisions based on performance. The position reports to the Head of Growth Marketing. The role includes managing paid search and demand-capture programs; planning and buying paid social, display, programmatic, connected TV, and online video; allocating and pacing budgets against targets; overseeing agency and platform partners; and building reliable ad operations systems, templates, reporting, and anomaly monitoring. The successful candidate will establish channel measurement approaches, optimize spend based on ROAS, pipeline, and revenue, and develop repeatable workflows that can be automated. Nooks hires for trajectory rather than tenure and encourages candidates to demonstrate what they have built, owned, and scaled. The company is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce and to a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
