About The Position

Pacaso is seeking a contract growth marketer to execute paid acquisition and run a structured testing program as an embedded member of its growth team. The role combines hands-on campaign execution with participation in growth strategy. The hire will build, launch, QA, optimize, and report on campaigns; manage budgets, audiences, bids, and pacing; and work closely with lifecycle, creative, analytics, web, Product, Data, and Sales partners. The position reports to the Director, Paid Digital, who owns media strategy and the full budget. The role focuses on acquiring qualified buyers and optimizing beyond form fills toward consultations, tours, opportunities, and closed sales. The marketer will execute campaigns across required advertising platforms, implement AI-native campaign workflows, run disciplined A/B and multivariate tests, lead creative testing, assess new channels, recommend budget allocations based on incrementality, and provide weekly decision-oriented reporting. Measurement work includes offline conversion feedback to ad platforms, CRM-informed lead quality, attribution and incrementality analysis, and evaluating unit economics over a long purchase cycle. This is a six-month contract with an option to extend, at $70 per hour. The contractor will work inside Pacaso’s advertising accounts; the accounts, audiences, and creative remain Pacaso’s.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of growth and performance marketing experience, personally executing campaigns at a fast-growing company or growth agency.
  • Daily practical use of AI for performance analysis, search-term mining, ad variants, briefs, and reporting; ability to demonstrate workflows and apply human review where needed.
  • Personally managed more than $1 million in lifetime advertising spend across at least four required platforms.
  • A record of designing and running A/B and multivariate tests, including at least one incrementality or lift test.
  • Experience marketing high-consideration, long-cycle purchases, such as real estate, travel, financial services, automotive, B2B, or premium goods.
  • Lead-generation experience optimized to CRM outcomes rather than only form fills.
  • Clear written communication and decision-led performance readouts.
  • Ability to work independently as a contractor, set a personal work cadence, flag risks early, and operate with little management.
  • Recent hands-on budget management and deep knowledge of required platforms: Google Ads Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen and YouTube, Display and remarketing; Meta; LinkedIn; Reddit; and Microsoft Ads.
  • Knowledge of tracking and measurement tools and concepts including Google Tag Manager, GA4, Heap Analytics, server-side conversion APIs, offline conversions, attribution, incrementality, unit economics, and CRM outcome measurement.
  • Strong Sheets or Excel skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Connected TV advertising experience, including geo-holdout measurement for upper-funnel campaigns.
  • Programmatic and native advertising experience, including affluent audience segments and contextual placements.
  • TikTok advertising experience, including creator-style creative testing and experimentation with targeting and formats.
  • Curiosity about emerging advertising placements in AI assistants and AI search results.
  • Experience reaching affluent or high-net-worth audiences.
  • Experience setting up Salesforce offline conversions.
  • SQL skills and exposure to marketing mix modeling or third-party incrementality measurement.
  • Experience working for a premium brand and an eye for creative that does not feel like an ad.

Responsibilities

  • Build, launch, QA, manage, and optimize paid acquisition campaigns across required platforms, including campaign structure, bidding, budgets, audiences, and pacing against cost-per-qualified-lead and cost-per-tour targets.
  • Identify and implement AI-native methods for building and maintaining campaigns, using AI tools and platform features with appropriate human review.
  • Run the growth team’s testing program across audiences, creative, offers, and channels, with hypotheses, predefined success metrics, and kill-or-scale rules.
  • Set up and use offline conversions for consultations, tours, opportunities, and closed sales so advertising platforms can optimize toward real buyers.
  • Lead creative testing by briefing the creative team, setting up controlled tests, and reporting which concepts, hooks, and formats perform and why.
  • Test new channels using an allocated share of budget and present evidence before recommending whether to scale them.
  • Recommend budget shifts using incrementality rather than relying solely on platform-reported return on ad spend.
  • Deliver weekly, decision-oriented reporting covering spend, outcomes, tests, learnings, and recommendations.
  • Design and evaluate experiments, including A/B and multivariate tests, conversion- and brand-lift studies, geo-holdout and matched-market tests, and audience holdouts.
  • Maintain a shared learning log of tests and interpret results with confidence intervals, identifying inconclusive results where appropriate.
  • Audit tracking and measurement setups, identify potential double counting, and assess channel performance against CRM data and testing results.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary and meaningful equity, as described in the company benefits section.
  • Discretionary time off.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and their families.
  • Sponsored memberships to One Medical, Peloton, and WellHub.
  • 401(k).
  • Paid parental leave for primary and secondary caregivers.
  • Home office stipend.
  • Monthly internet and cell phone reimbursement.
  • Quarterly team gatherings.
  • Learning and development investment.
