About The Position

Crowe’s Performance Improvement practice helps clients improve profitability by solving supply chain, procurement, supplier management, and operational challenges; developing executable improvement plans; quantifying the financial value of improvements; and partnering with clients to capture value. This Senior Consultant role primarily supports strategic sourcing engagements, including global supply strategies, category strategies, competitive sourcing initiatives, and procurement transformations. Consultants take ownership of a client challenge at a time and work mostly independently to drive operational and financial results. The role is client-facing and requires working onsite with clients and traveling 95% of the time, Sunday through Thursday, more than 45 weeks per year. The primary focus is strategic sourcing. The role supports supply chain assessments, analyzes spend and performance, evaluates sourcing and procurement maturity, develops category strategies, facilitates stakeholder workshops, and presents findings and recommendations to executive leaders. After assessments, the Senior Consultant leads delivery workstreams, including category strategy execution through negotiations and award recommendations, implementation of supplier agreements, and improvements to procurement structures, policies, processes, and management practices. Consultants may also support logistics and operational engagements involving broader transformations, complex workstreams, operational and financial analysis, strategy development, process reengineering, and modeling.
