About The Position

As a member of the Infrastructure Planning team, the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Optimization partners with Regional Producing Bottlers (RPBs) to optimize delivered costs from plants to distribution centers, plan capacity and capital investments that meet customer and consumer demand, and strengthen the long-term competitiveness of the U.S. Bottling System. The role is a subject-matter expert in supply chain network optimization, data analysis, and infrastructure business-case development. It translates network-modeling results into financial and operational recommendations for Bottler senior leadership and the NPSG Board, and independently leads multiple complex projects and workstreams. The role conducts network-optimization studies, develops input for strategic capital investment and divestment decisions, and translates analytical findings into actionable recommendations for bottling partners and senior leadership. It also advances team capabilities through process improvement, tool enhancement, and team development. Success requires advanced analytical and network-optimization capabilities, cross-functional project leadership, strong financial and business-case acumen, executive communication skills, coaching and development abilities, support for organizational change, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The position builds and validates network models using demand forecasts, transportation and manufacturing costs, capital requirements, production capacity, and other operational inputs. It uses Lyric to evaluate sourcing strategies, capacity and capability additions, plant consolidations, and greenfield opportunities; develops financial analyses and capital-investment business cases; and presents recommendations and expected financial results to stakeholders and executive audiences. It also supports project validation, tracks implementation progress, improves analytical tools and processes, and develops training and onboarding materials.
