About The Position

Crowe’s Performance Improvement practice works with clients to improve profitability by addressing supply chain, procurement and sourcing, supplier management and development, and operational challenges. The practice develops executable improvement plans, aligns stakeholders, quantifies financial value, and partners with clients to capture results. The Senior Consultant leads aspects of strategic sourcing engagements, including shaping global supply strategies, developing category strategies, leading competitive sourcing initiatives, and supporting procurement transformations, logistics, and operational excellence. Consultants take ownership of a client challenge at a time, working mostly independently to deliver operational and financial results. The delivery model involves working onsite with clients and requires travel 95% of the time. The role primarily supports strategic sourcing assessments and delivery workstreams. Responsibilities include interviewing executive and front-line leaders, conducting job observations, developing spend and performance analytics, assessing sourcing and procurement maturity, building category strategies, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and presenting findings to executive leaders. Following assessments, the consultant leads the execution of category strategies through negotiations and award recommendations, supports supplier-agreement implementation, and helps optimize sourcing and procurement structures, policies, processes, and management practices. The consultant may also work on logistics or broader operational transformation engagements, including analysis, strategy development, process reengineering, and modeling.
