About The Position
The Performance Improvement Specialist supports performance improvement activities in a healthcare setting. Candidates should have experience collecting and analyzing data, using basic statistics and statistical measurement tools, and working with spreadsheet and word processing programs. Knowledge of hospice operations and performance improvement concepts is preferable. A credentialed and licensed healthcare professional is preferred, as is certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. A bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
Requirements
- Experience with data collection, basic statistics, statistical measurement tools, and data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Experience with spreadsheet and word processing programs.
