Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
  • Certification in a healthcare field preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Experience in reviewing charts for care issues.
  • Detail-oriented organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and directions and follow through.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with Medical Staff communication is a must.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with exceptional professional work ethics.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and typing.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the coordination, integration, and implementation of organization-wide performance improvement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Conducting chart reviews and data abstraction for CMS Core Measures and other quality outcomes studies.
  • Educating staff on core measures and updates regarding new and enhanced indicators.
  • Researching and developing quality and value-based care initiatives across the system.
  • Communicating the strategic vision and mission of the organization.
  • Performing data analysis to track and trend quality matrices fallouts.
  • Compiling quality, financial, and operational performance data (cost and effectiveness) to improve healthcare delivery and address multi-dimensional challenges.
  • Gathering customer feedback for improvement initiatives.
  • Service line development, assessment of competitive marketplace (including needs assessment, health trends), service line management, health policy, and management.
