About The Position

We are seeking a PeopleSoft Functional Analyst with expertise in PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM modules, specifically Core HR, Position Management, and ePerformance. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work onsite in either Albany, NY or NYC. You will be responsible for providing functional support, including setup and maintenance of configurations and base tables, as well as troubleshooting module issues. Your role will involve researching the impact of customizations during patch and update applications, eliciting and documenting requirements from business users and SMEs, and translating these requirements into optimal PeopleSoft solutions. You will also research new functionality in Oracle PUM Images, mentor other analysts, and provide leadership on projects and issues. Key activities include developing and maintaining business process workflows, Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), and use cases. You will participate in PUM/PeopleTools upgrade research and implementation, conduct testing and QA activities, create business process models to identify improvements, define test scenarios, and create test scripts for system testing. Collaboration with the technical team on batch/job issues, assessing production schedule impact from outages, and documenting protocols for process failures are also crucial. You will work closely with developers and administrators to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and design and set up workflow configurations.

Requirements

  • Experience as functional analyst/lead in specified PeopleSoft modules (Core HR, Position Management, ePerformance)
  • Demonstrated experience with broad stakeholders to analyze needs and define requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of business requirements, processes, implementation approaches
  • Experience mapping requirements to PeopleSoft functionality; fit-gap analysis
  • Proven test planning and execution experience
  • Expert knowledge in module setups/configurations (including control tables)
  • Experience as PeopleSoft functional lead in minimum two PeopleSoft 9.2 implementation projects (specified modules)
  • Experience configuring workflow using Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
  • Experience analyzing PUM images and impact to applications
