About The Position

This is a hybrid role for a PeopleSoft Functional Analyst in Albany, NY or NYC. The primary focus is to provide functional support for PeopleSoft 9.2 Enterprise Learning Management (ELM). Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining configurations and base tables, troubleshooting module issues, and researching the impact of customizations during patch and update applications. The role involves eliciting and documenting requirements from business users and SMEs, translating these requirements to best fit within PeopleSoft, and researching new functionality in Oracle PUM Images. Additionally, the analyst will mentor other analysts, provide leadership on projects and issues, develop and maintain business process workflows, Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), and use cases. Participation in PUM/PeopleTools upgrade research and implementation, conducting testing and QA activities, creating business process models, identifying improvements, defining test scenarios, and creating test scripts for system testing are also key aspects. The role requires collaboration with the technical team on batch/job issues, assessing production schedule impact from outages, documenting protocols for process failures, and working with developers/admins to troubleshoot and fix production issues. Designing and setting up workflow configurations is also a part of the role.

Requirements

Experience as functional analyst/lead in PeopleSoft ELM
Demonstrated experience with broad stakeholders to analyze needs and define requirements
Advanced knowledge of business requirements, processes, implementation approaches
Experience mapping requirements to PeopleSoft functionality; fit-gap analysis
Proven test planning and execution experience
Expert knowledge in ELM setups/configurations (including control tables)
Experience as PeopleSoft functional lead in minimum two PeopleSoft 9.2 implementation projects (ELM)
Experience configuring workflow using Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
Experience analyzing PUM images and impact to applications
