About The Position

Grow Therapy is seeking a People Systems & Programs Manager to oversee the technical infrastructure for hiring, onboarding, and supporting employees, as well as manage compliance programs. This individual contributor role will own the People Systems roadmap, including Rippling configuration and automation, compliance calendar management, and integrations across the people tech stack. The role also involves exploring AI applications to reduce manual work and enhance efficiency. The position reports to the Sr. Manager of People Systems & Operations and partners closely with the People Operations Lead.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on HRIS or People Systems experience with direct ownership of an HRIS platform and automation builds.
  • Direct Rippling experience (Workflow Studio, sandbox QA) or deep experience on a comparable platform (Workday, UKG, BambooHR).
  • Experience owning a compliance calendar end-to-end.
  • Ability to think in systems and translate business requirements into working workflows and documentation.
  • Experience building people infrastructure at a high-growth tech company (200–1,000+ employees).
  • Experience mentoring and upskilling others.
  • Curiosity about AI and its application to People Operations, including experimentation with AI tooling.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills to identify and fix issues before they impact others.

Responsibilities

  • Own the People Systems roadmap, including Rippling HRIS configuration, Workflow Studio builds, sandbox QA, and sprint backlog management.
  • Design and implement automation across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, internal mobility, LOA) using Rippling Workflow Studio and evaluating AI-powered tools.
  • Manage the annual compliance calendar end-to-end, including compliance trainings, Labor Law Postings, and HR compliance filings (ACA, NDT, etc.).
  • Manage HRIS integrations across the people tech stack (e.g., Boundless, Ashby, Carta, Sparrow, Culture Amp, Pave, KnowBe4, Notion, Console AI), ensuring data integrity.
  • Partner with the People Operations Lead as her systems counterpart, owning architecture and change controls.
  • Mentor and upskill the People Operations Lead on systems thinking and automation logic.
