About The Position

The People Services Generalist enhances department functions by planning, implementing, and developing training, onboarding, and employee orientation programs; administering employee benefits and payroll; and answering employee questions about pay, benefits, policies, and procedures. The role works under the guidance and direction of the People Services Director and provides a range of human resources services, develops solutions based on collected and analyzed information, and helps improve manager and employee performance through problem-solving, coaching, and counseling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and develop training, onboarding, and employee orientation programs.
• Administer employee benefits and payroll, and answer employee questions regarding pay, benefits, policies, and procedures.
• Implement human resources programs and services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, orientation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and AA/EEO compliance.
• Collect and analyze information and recommend courses of action to develop human resources solutions.
• Identify and clarify performance problems, evaluate potential solutions, implement selected solutions, and coach and counsel managers and employees.
