About The Position

Our valued client, Arlington Community Federal Credit Union (ACFCU), is actively recruiting for a People & Culture Specialist to support and elevate the employee experience across the organization. In this role, you will coordinate onboarding, manage employee lifecycle processes, and deliver programs that drive engagement and culture. This role has a strong focus on employee engagement, including implementing recognition initiatives, supporting internal communications, and organizing culture-building activities that reflect the organization's values. The Specialist will also maintain reporting and dashboards to track program effectiveness and inform continuous improvement, while partnering across teams to foster a connected, positive workplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of two (2) years of work experience. Equivalent years of work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee engagement, recognition programs, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Experience in recruitment coordination, including posting positions, liaising with hiring leaders and external partners, and facilitating onboarding.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and ability to generate and analyze reports; experience with ADP and/or a performance development system a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, service tickets, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable drafting internal communications, announcements, and event promotions.
  • High degree of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality of employee, member, and organizational information.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and EEO.
  • A collaborative, people-first mindset with a genuine passion for creating an exceptional employee experience.
