Pediatric Therapy Clinic Aide- Pleasanton, CA
About The Position
Proficio Therapy Services is a mission-driven therapy organization that provides ABA, speech, and occupational therapy to children and families. The Pediatric Therapy Clinic Aide supports pediatric occupational and speech therapists by helping patients move through the clinic and assisting with therapeutic exercises and clinic activities. The role also includes preparing and putting away activities, cleaning, copying, answering phones, scheduling, and other office tasks. The position is part-time, 20 hours per week, in Pleasanton, California, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Pay is $18.00 per hour.
Requirements
- College degree or associate degree in health sciences, kinesiology, or a similarly related field.
- Plan to enroll in a degree program in allied health.
- Previous experience working with children.
- Detail-oriented, organized, reliable, accountable, energetic, ethical, and professional.
- Able to multitask, prioritize tasks, take direction, and follow through.
- Able to work independently while adhering to task priorities.
- Good customer service and communication skills, including proper oral and written English.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist pediatric occupational therapists and speech therapists with patient flow in and out of the clinic.
- Assist with therapeutic exercises.
- Set up and break down activities.
- Clean and make copies.
