Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
About The Position
Ivy Health is seeking an outpatient pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join its dedicated pediatric team in Virginia. The clinician will work with children from birth through age 21, providing individualized one-to-one care and customized plans of care. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend sessions to help carry skills and home exercises into daily life. The role offers multidisciplinary collaboration, mentorship, and autonomy to support clinicians’ professional growth and areas of expertise. Ivy Health provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and applied behavior analysis services. Clinicians have access to clinical resources and mentorship, and ScribeIQ, an AI documentation tool, is intended to reduce documentation time so clinicians can spend more time with patients and complete notes at work.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
- Current or pending licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the respective state.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient speech-language pathology care to pediatric patients from birth through age 21.
- Deliver individualized one-to-one attention and develop customized plans of care.
- Encourage parents and caregivers to participate in sessions and carry skills and home exercises into the child’s daily life.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teammates to support patient care and outcomes.
