About The Position

Abbott Nutrition is seeking a Pediatric Sales Representative in Montgomery, Alabama. This role promotes, manages, and grows Abbott Nutrition products in pediatric and obstetric office settings. The representative develops and supports territory sales goals, communicates product and clinical information in a selling environment, supports new product launches, and works with dietitians, physicians, and nurses. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds to assist with stocking and moving pediatric products.
• Must be a local candidate; no relocation support is available.
• The ideal candidate will live in Montgomery, Alabama, or the surrounding area, including Birmingham.

• Experience selling in a medical setting.
• Experience working with healthcare professionals, such as registered dietitians or registered nurses.
• Preferred experience in pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support territory sales goals by selling Abbott products.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines, and deliver this information in a selling environment.
• Support new product launches.
• Work effectively with dietitians, physicians, and nurses.
• Organize time and perform administrative tasks effectively.
• Manage budgets.
• Work independently with initiative, autonomy, and motivation to achieve short- and long-term goals.
• Assist with stocking and moving pediatric products.
