About The Position

Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Our location in Montgomery, AL currently has an opportunity for a Pediatric Sales Representative. This position is responsible for the promotion, management, and growth of Abbott Nutritional products in pediatric and obstetric office settings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs to assist with stocking and the movement of pediatric products.
• The ideal candidate will live in Montgomery, AL or surrounding area including Birmingham, AL.
• Local candidates only please – No Relocation support for this opportunity.

Nice To Haves

• Experience selling in a medical setting as well as healthcare professionals (RDs/RNs) with preferred experience in pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Developing and supporting territory sales goals selling Abbott products.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines as well as the ability to deliver the information in a selling environment.
• New product launches.
• The ability to work effectively with Dietitians, Physicians and Nurses.
• Effective administrative skills, organizing your time.
• Budget management.
• Ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy.
• Desire to be self- motivated, seeking out success at achieving both short and long term goals.
