About The Position
Nursing Evolutions Pediatric Critical Care Houses provides care to medically fragile pediatric patients with complex needs, specializing in transitioning them from hospital settings to home. The Registered Nurse (RN) team is composed of compassionate individuals dedicated to positively impacting patients and their families. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ASN/BSN or higher)
- Previous experience in a pediatric-related healthcare setting
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Washington State or hold a multistate RN license with eligibility to practice in Washington State under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association with hands on Training Skills Certificate, for Healthcare Providers is mandatory for all positions at the time of hire.
- Current PALS Certification
- Current WA State Food Handler’s Certification
- Current WA State Drivers License
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric healthcare nursing experience.
- Availability to work weekdays, a few weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Operate within the Scope of Practice as defined by the State and align with the ANA Scope and Standards for Pediatric Nursing Practice.
- Adhere strictly to Nursing Evolutions policies, procedures, and care guidelines while delivering safe, family-centered patient care.
- Utilize the Nursing Care Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care collaboratively with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants and others in accordance with the State Administrative Code.
- Contribute to achieving Nursing Evolutions mission and goals by integrating initiatives such as Values Based Behavior and Healthy Work Environment into daily work.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
