About The Position
Gentle Dental is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join its established practice in Bend, Oregon. The practice has an existing patient base, consistent demand for care, and a dedicated clinical support team. The role offers clinical autonomy, comprehensive patient care, and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and the community. It is open to experienced providers and early-career dentists seeking professional growth. The dentist will work alongside dental assistants, hygienists, and a dental therapist, with access to specialist referrals, consultation, and case collaboration. Mentorship, continuing education, leadership development, and operational support are available so the dentist can focus on patient care. The position offers a $40,000 signing bonus and average full-time dentist earnings of $150,000–$400,000+. The Bend practice is eligible for potential loan repayment opportunities through the Oregon Office of Rural Health and the National Health Service Corps, subject to program requirements, funding availability, and individual eligibility.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
- Active Oregon dental license or ability to obtain one prior to employment.
- Current CPR certification.
- DEA registration and NPI number, or ability to obtain them.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care based on patients' needs and practice at the top of the dentist's licensure.
- Build lasting relationships with patients and the community.
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, a dental therapist, and specialists as needed.
- Participate in mentorship, continuing education, and leadership development opportunities.
