About The Position

Provides pediatric oral surgical care in Seattle Children's Dental Clinic and operating rooms, treating conditions, defects, injuries, and esthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, jaws, and face. May diagnose problems in the oral and maxillofacial regions and perform surgery to improve function or appearance. Provides clinical training and education to oral and maxillofacial surgery residents as an affiliate faculty member of the University of Washington School of Dentistry.

Requirements

DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine).
Advanced training in an oral and maxillofacial surgery program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Advanced Dental Education in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Board eligibility or certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Previous experience in hospital Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Experience with medically compromised and developmentally delayed pediatric patients.
Licensed dentist in the State of Washington.
Before starting employment, obtain and maintain in good standing medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment.
