About The Position

Join an established oral surgery practice serving Hoover and the greater Birmingham area. The practice offers a broad clinical scope and an experienced team, with opportunities for experienced surgeons and residents nearing completion to develop their practice, learn alongside colleagues, and build lasting relationships with patients and referring providers. Eligible doctors can pursue an early path to partnership and equity. The practice provides outpatient care in the office and hospital-based treatment for facial injuries and trauma. In-office care is supported by an experienced surgical team, including certified assistants trained in IV sedation and outpatient general anesthesia. The clinical scope includes dental implants, wisdom teeth, bone grafting, oral pathology, sleep apnea, TMJ disorders, TMJ arthroscopy, and corrective jaw surgery. The position is based in the Hoover and greater Birmingham area, which offers nearby city amenities, suburban communities, parks, trails, and outdoor recreation.

Requirements

DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
Certificate from an ADA-accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.
Eligible for Alabama dental licensure.
Board-certified or board-eligible; residents nearing completion are welcome to inquire.

Responsibilities

Provide a broad range of oral and facial surgical care, including dental implants, wisdom teeth, bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, oral pathology, sleep apnea, and TMJ disorders.
Provide specialized TMJ care, including TMJ arthroscopy.
Provide office-based surgical care and hospital-based treatment for facial injuries and trauma.
Develop a surgical practice and build lasting relationships with patients and referring providers.
