Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
About The Position
Join an established oral surgery practice serving Memphis, Arlington, and Tipton County. The practice provides full-scope care, including wisdom teeth, dental implants, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma, and other oral and facial conditions. It uses advanced technology and emphasizes attentive, personal care, clear communication, and helping patients feel comfortable and informed from consultation through recovery. Same-day care is offered whenever possible for patients with pain or urgent concerns. The role offers a varied clinical practice, mentorship and peer support for newer surgeons, and a long-term opportunity with a clear path to partnership and equity. Eligible doctors may pursue partnership early in their career within a majority doctor-owned organization.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
- Certificate from an ADA-accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program.
- Eligible for Tennessee dental licensure.
- Experienced surgeons and residents nearing completion are welcome to inquire.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgical care, including dental implants, wisdom teeth, bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, facial pain care, and treatment of injuries and fractures.
- Plan surgical care using cone beam CT imaging.
- Provide office-based IV sedation or general anesthesia and monitor patients during and after surgery.
- Help patients feel comfortable and informed from consultation through recovery.
