About The Position

Theracare is seeking a dynamic Occupational Therapist for its busy pediatric outpatient therapy clinic in Osceola, Indiana. The role offers support from a local manager, a cooperative environment alongside occupational, physical, and speech therapy staff, and the opportunity to positively affect children and their families. Additional hours may be available at a local skilled nursing facility. The therapist helps children build independence and develop fine motor, sensory motor, and visual motor skills to function at the highest possible level. Outpatient care focuses on developmental skills such as feeding, handwriting, and object manipulation. The therapist coordinates care with a multidisciplinary team and family members. Mentorship is available for new graduates.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science or an advanced degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current state license or certification.
Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
Experience with feeding and sensory integration therapies.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in pediatric occupational therapy.
Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
Must be willing to work 2–3 evenings per week and be open to Saturday mornings as necessary.

Nice To Haves

Prefer three to five years of experience in pediatric rehabilitation; new graduates are welcome to apply.
